Reading is for Learning to See

Reading is not that good for learning > doing and experience are a much better teacher. Far superior.

Reading is good for finding new ways to see. People can introduce ideas, mental models, and ways of seeing the world that take a long time to formulate but no time at all to understand.

The important part of reading is integration. Integrating those new seeing into your doing.

Reflection and documentation are the critical components.

With reading, it’s quality over quantity.

With doing, it’s quantity over quality.
